Amman, July 27 (Petra) – Speaker of Lower House of Representatives, Ahmad Safadi, on Sunday voiced the lawmakers’ support for the Kingdom’s sports and youth movement.
Safadi added that the House is “keen to listen to all proposals and opinions related to Jordan’s sports sector and clubs, through the relevant parliamentary Education and Youth Committee.”
Safadi made the remarks during a meeting with Chairman of the Interim Administrative Board of Faisaly Club, Ahmad Wreikat, and board members.
Wreikat, in turn, said the club is currently dealing with diverse issues that require support and assistance, reviewing a slew of achievements made in the short period since appointment of the interim board.
Second Deputy Speaker, Ahmad Hmeisat and MPs Mohammad Bustanji and Haitham Ziyadin attended the meeting.
