Amman, Feb. 2 (Petra) – Minister of Investment, Mothanna Gharaibeh, met on Sunday with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the investment field.
According to a ministry statement, Gharaibeh and the Uzbek minister, who is visiting the Kingdom for the first time accompanied by a high-level delegation from the relevant departments handling bilateral files between the two countries, emphasized their commitment to deepening the friendly relations between the two nations and increasing cooperation in various investment, economic, and trade fields. They also explored the possibility of establishing economic partnerships.
Both sides expressed interest in enhancing cooperation in the industrial sector, particularly in textiles and garments, fertilizers, chemical industries, and pharmaceutical industries. They also discussed opening avenues for cooperation between the public and private sectors in areas of mutual interest.
