Occupied Jerusalem, June 07 (QNA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinians from the town of Beit Anan, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, on Sunday evening.
In a press statement, the Jerusalem Governorate said occupation forces detained the five Palestinians while they were working on their agricultural land.
According to the statement, the occupation authorities claimed the farmers had approached a settlement outpost established on land belonging to the area.
The governorate noted that Beit Anan and its surrounding lands are frequently subjected to attacks by occupation forces and settlers, including restrictions on Palestinians’ movement and access to their farmland, as part of policies aimed at expanding settlement activity and confiscating more Palestinian land.
