Damascus, April 10 (QNA) – Israeli occupation forces shelled the vicinity of the town of Jamla in the western Daraa countryside with tank fire today, with no immediate reports of casualties.
This came after an escalation of activity in the area yesterday (Thursday), when an Israeli force entered the village of Al-Ajraf in the northern Quneitra countryside, set up a temporary checkpoint, and conducted searches before withdrawing without making any arrests.
The Israeli occupation continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, while Syria reiterates its demand that the international community assume its responsibilities and compel the occupation to withdraw completely from its territory. (QNA)
