Amman, July 20 (Petra) – The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts has
completed all technical, organizational, and logistical preparations
for its 40th edition, as part of a comprehensive action plan
implemented in cooperation with various official bodies and partners.

In a press release, the festival’s management confirmed that
preparations included the main theaters and event venues within the
archaeological site, the technical setup for sound, lighting, visual
projections, and television broadcasting systems, as well as
hospitality and reception arrangements “to guarantee a seamless
experience for guests and the public.”

On the organizational side, the management, in coordination with
relevant security agencies, drew up a comprehensive plan to manage
traffic flow, regulate visitor and guest entry, and provide the
highest levels of safety and security, ensuring smooth traffic flow
within and around the archaeological site throughout the festival.

Coordination with various stakeholders was underway to provide
ambulance and emergency services, manage parking, and secure
transport for guests to and from event venues.

The management said the 40th edition features the largest artistic
and cultural program in the festival’s history, including over 220
events spread across the main theaters and cultural venues.

These events will feature a distinguished lineup of Jordanian, Arab,
and international artists, in addition to cultural and intellectual
programs, handicrafts exhibitions, the Jerash Bazaar, and activities
designed for families and children.

The management urged the public to heed instructions, utilize the
designated parking areas, and take advantage of transport options,
which facilitates access to event venues and enhances traffic flow
throughout the festival.

It said the 40th edition is “a significant milestone” in the Jerash
Festival’s journey, marking a new beginning with a growing stature
and role in promoting Jordanian culture and the Kingdom’s status on
the map of cultural and artistic events, both regionally and
internationally.
