Jerash, July 28 (Petra) — Minister of Culture and Chairman of the
Higher Committee for the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts Mustafa
Rawashdeh toured the Embassies Pavilion at the festival’s 40th
edition on Tuesday, accompanied by the festival’s Executive Director,
Yazan Khudair.

During the visit, Rawashdeh was briefed by representatives of the
participating embassies on the exhibits showcasing their countries’
cultural heritage, including traditional costumes, handicrafts,
heritage products and national cuisine displayed throughout the
festival.

Rawashdeh said the Embassies Pavilion forms part of the cultural
program accompanying the 40th edition of the Jerash Festival,
reflecting the festival’s commitment to expanding cultural exchange
and allowing visitors to explore diverse cultures and traditions
alongside the artistic and cultural events hosted in the ancient city
of Jerash.

Several diplomatic missions accredited to Jordan are participating in
the pavilion, presenting elements of their national heritage and
traditions. The exhibition allows festivalgoers to experience a wide
range of world cultures in one venue while reinforcing the festival’s
international dimension.

The Embassies Pavilion serves as a platform for cultural dialogue
between Jordan and other countries by highlighting the heritage,
arts, and folk traditions of different nations, in line with the
Jerash Festival’s vision of promoting international cultural
engagement and openness to diverse human experiences.
