Jerash, July 26 (Petra) — Visitors to the 40th Jerash Festival for
Culture and Arts have praised the organization of the event, saying
entry procedures were efficient and well managed, with smooth ticket
verification, streamlined access through designated gates, and
courteous assistance from staff and volunteers.

Festival-goers from Jordan and several Arab countries said the entry
process reflected a high level of preparedness and organization,
citing clearly marked routes, efficient security screening and easy
access to performance venues, which helped reduce congestion and
ensured a seamless experience at one of the region’s leading cultural
and arts festivals.

They also commended the role of the Public Security Directorate (PSD)
in ensuring the festival’s success, saying the organized security
presence, gate procedures and management of pedestrian and vehicle
traffic were carried out professionally and respectfully.

Visitors said officers from the PSD’s Stadium Security Unit treated
attendees with professionalism and courtesy, readily offering
guidance and assistance when needed, contributing to a safe and
welcoming atmosphere and reinforcing Jordan’s reputation for
successfully hosting major events.

Atif Odeibat, a member of the festival’s Higher Committee
representing the local community and a former minister, praised the
festival’s decision to provide free parking areas at locations near
the archaeological city as part of a traffic management plan aimed at
facilitating access to festival venues, easing traffic congestion and
improving traffic flow throughout the event.

He encouraged visitors to make use of the free parking facilities and
follow the guidance of organizers to ensure smooth entry and exit
while supporting the high organizational standards that the festival
seeks to maintain.

Huda Um Ali, a visitor from Iraq, said the organization was
impressive from the moment she arrived at the archaeological site,
noting that access to events at the South Theatre was quick and
straightforward despite the large crowds.

She said the clearly marked entry routes, efficient security checks
and warm reception reflected the professionalism expected of the
Jerash Festival.

Mohammad Al-Nabulsi, a visitor from Palestine, said the entry process
from presenting tickets to reaching seating areas was seamless,
adding that the distribution of entry gates helped minimize
congestion while security personnel and organizers treated visitors
with respect and cooperation, enhancing their sense of comfort and
safety.

Amina Khaled, a Jordanian visitor, said this year’s organization
reflected the experience gained from managing major events, praising
the speed of entry, the clarity of directions, and the presence of
organizers throughout the venue to assist visitors and answer their
questions, making the festival experience more comfortable from
arrival through the start of performances.
