Amman, Jan 26 (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs strongly condemned the targeting of the Saudi hospital in the city of Al-Fashir, Sudan, which resulted in dozens of casualties and injuries.
The ministry’s spokesperson, Sufian Qudah, expressed the Kingdom’s absolute rejection and condemnation of this attack, considering it a blatant violation of international law, including international humanitarian law, particularly the Geneva Convention of 1949 on the protection of civilians in times of war.
Qudah extended his deepest condolences and sympathies to the government and people of Sudan, as well as to the families of the victims, wishing a swift recovery for the injured.
