Amman, July 30 (Petra) – Jordan sent condolences to the government and people China following the devastating floods caused by torrential rains in Beijing, which resulted in numerous fatalities, injuries and the evacuation of thousands.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates spokesperson Sufian Qudah stated that the Kingdom stands in solidarity with China, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a swift recovery for the injured.
Qudah said Jordanian in China are safe with no reports of injuries. He urged Jordanians in the flood-affected areas to exercise extreme caution and to follow the instructions issued by Chinese authorities.
