Amman, July 30 (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs announced the evacuation of 112 individuals Jordanian citizens and nationals of friendly countries from Sweida Governorate in the Syrian Arab Republic, through the Nassib–Jaber border crossing into Jordan.
The operation was carried out in coordination with the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and relevant Syrian authorities.
Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah stated that the evacuation was conducted using Syrian Arab Red Crescent buses, following requests from the concerned countries, as part of a joint effort with national institutions in the Kingdom.
Qudah expressed appreciation to the Syrian authorities for their swift response and cooperation in facilitating the safe and timely return of the evacuees to Jordan.
