Amman, July 30 (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs has expressed its sincere condolences to the People’s Republic of China following the deadly floods caused by heavy rainfall in the capital, Beijing, which resulted in dozens of casualties and injuries, as well as the evacuation of thousands.
Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah affirmed the Kingdom’s solidarity and heartfelt sympathy with the government and people of China in the wake of this tragic event, extending condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a swift recovery to the injured.
Qudah confirmed that all Jordanian citizens residing in or currently present in China are safe, with no injuries reported among them. He urged Jordanians in the affected areas to exercise maximum caution and to adhere to the safety instructions issued by Chinese authorities.
