Amman, Dec. 14 (Petra) — Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abu Saud held talks on Sunday with U.S. Ambassador to Jordan Jim Holtsnider, discussing Jordan’s mounting water challenges and ongoing efforts to secure sustainable water supplies through long-term infrastructure projects.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry, the talks focused on measures being implemented by the water sector to address water scarcity, enhance supply security, and advance sustainable water solutions.
Abu Saud expressed the government’s appreciation for the continued support provided by the United States government and people, highlighting in particular U.S. backing for the National Water Carrier Project.
