Amman, Feb. 12 (Petra) – The Jordan Press Association (JPA) has called on all journalists and media organizations to gather at Marka Airport on Thursday to welcome the return of His Majesty King Abdullah II and HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II following their visit to Washington, where they met with U.S. President Donald Trump.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the JPA said the gathering reflects Jordanians’ loyalty to their wise Hashemite leadership and their support for the King’s firm national positions, particularly his stance against displacement and the concept of an alternative homeland. These national principles, it added, are non-negotiable.
The statement also highlighted the King’s role in promoting stability and peace in the region, including efforts to resolve Arab issues such as the Palestinian cause. It noted his significant contributions to Jordan’s progress through his strategic vision and prudent policies.
