Amman, February 9 (Petra) – Minister of Justice Bassam Talhouni met with Italian Ambassador to Jordan Luciano Pizzuti on Sunday to discuss strengthening legal cooperation between the two countries.
Talhouni underscored the strong ties between Jordan and Italy, emphasizing the importance of sustained collaboration in the legal sector.
The discussions covered draft agreements on judicial assistance, extradition of criminals, and the transfer of convicts serving custodial sentences, aiming to enhance bilateral legal frameworks.
Pizzuti commended the existing cooperation between the two nations, expressing hope for further legal collaboration and continued coordination in various areas.
