Amman, Feb. 3 (Petra) –His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday met with Slovenia Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon.
The meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace and attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, addressed the latest regional developments.
His Majesty stressed that the two-state solution is the only way to achieve peace and stability in the region, commending Slovenia’s support for peace efforts.
The King called for ensuring the ceasefire in Gaza is upheld, and stepping up international efforts to enhance the humanitarian response.
The meeting also covered prospects for enhancing cooperation between Jordan and Slovenia.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh attended the meeting.
