“Knights of Narrative 80|20” Initiative Launched to Celebrate Independence Day

Amman, June 3 (Petra) — The Department of the National Library
hosted on Tuesday evening the launch of the initiative “Knights of
Narrative 80|20: A Stand of Belonging.”

Organized by the Amman-based international office “My Nationality is
Human,” the event coincides with the Kingdom’s celebrations of its
80th Independence Day, aiming to document values of national
belonging and envision the path forward for Jordan’s upcoming
centennial.

Amin Abu Hijleh, President of the International Knights of Peace
Organization and Secretary-General of the International Board for
Human Rights (IBHR), stated that the International Board is entering
a new phase. This new era shifts the focus from merely demanding
rights to actively creating opportunities and driving innovation,
thereby reinforcing the human role as an active partner in shaping
the future and generating impactful ideas.

He further emphasized that tolerance serves as the fundamental
cornerstone of this humanitarian vision.

During the event, it was announced that Consultant Khaled Al-Salami
has been named Honorary President of the IBHR, in recognition of his
intellectual and humanitarian contributions, as well as his pivotal
role in supporting initiatives aimed at fostering knowledge and
positive societal impact.

The event successfully bridged eighty years of historic national
achievements with a twenty-year forward-looking vision aimed at
Jordan’s upcoming centennial. A major highlight was the official
launch of the United Arab Emirates’ “Idea Maker Award for Training
Content and Impact,” which ran alongside the unveiling of the
“Sustainability Passport: Impact Maker” initiative. Together, these
milestones underscored the critical importance of embedding
sustainability, innovation, and positive influence into the fabric of
future development.

Participants concluded by affirming that the event highlights
Jordan’s standing as a leading model for national allegiance and
humanitarian leadership, reflecting a harmonious alignment between
national values, sustainable development initiatives, and positive
global impact.
