Kuwait, April 08 (QNA) – The State of Kuwait on Wednesday expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks launched by the Israeli occupation on several areas in Lebanon, which resulted in hundreds of civilian casualties, including deaths and injuries, in flagrant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
In a statement, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against the continuation of these attacks, considering them a dangerous escalation and a violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as an undermining of international efforts aimed at reducing tensions and establishing peace in the region.
The Ministry reiterated its call to the international community, particularly the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities and take immediate and decisive measures to deter these attacks and compel the Israeli occupation authorities to respect international resolutions and relevant conventions.
Kuwait also reaffirmed its full solidarity with Lebanon and its support for maintaining its security, stability, and territorial integrity. (QNA)
