Kuwait, August 11 (QNA) – Kuwait Bourse closed trading lower Tuesday, with its All-Share Index falling 41.23 points, or 0.46%, to settle at 8,836.02 points.
A total of 236.2 million shares changed hands through 19,741 cash transactions worth KWD 69.7 million (approximately $227.3 million).
The Main Market Index fell 109.33 points, or 1.22%, to settle at 8,867.54 points, with 137.7 million shares changing hands through 9,742 cash transactions worth KWD 25.4 million (approximately $82.8 million).
The Premier Market Index also declined 28.87 points, or 0.31%, to settle at 9,287.94 points, with 98.4 million shares changing hands through 9,999 cash transactions worth KWD 44.2 million (approximately $144.1 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index fell 29.17 points, or 0.28%, to settle at 10,339.93 points, with 98.3 million shares changing hands through 6,211 cash transactions worth KWD 18.6 million (approximately $60.6 million). (QNA)
