Kuwait, July 08 (QNA) – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strongest condemnation of the repeated Iranian attacks against it, the latest of which occurred Wednesday morning.
These attacks constitute a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability, and a grave breach of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.
In a statement, the Ministry reiterated that the continuation of these blatant attacks, at a time when regional and international efforts are underway to de-escalate tensions, systematically undermines these efforts and disregards the international will supporting this path.
The Ministry emphasized that the security, sovereignty, and safety of the State of Kuwait, its citizens, and residents are inviolable red lines. It reaffirmed Kuwait’s inherent and legitimate right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and stability. (QNA)
