Amman, March 17 (Petra) — French President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday that France will never participate in operations to open the Strait of Hormuz and continues to work on forming a coalition capable of ensuring freedom of navigation once hostilities end.
According to France 24, Macron added at the start of a cabinet meeting to discuss Middle East conflicts: “We are not a party to the conflict, and therefore France will never participate in operations to open the Strait of Hormuz under the current circumstances.”
