Mr. Ahmed Najeeb Muhammad Assaf, born on 5/8/1974, holds a master’s degree in Arabic studies and a bachelor’s degree in administration and economics.
Mr. Ahmed Assaf currently holds the following positions:
General Supervisor of the Public Authority for Radio and Television – Palestine.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian News and Information Agency “Wafa”.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hayat Al-Jadeeda newspaper.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Satellite Corporation “PALSAT”.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Martyr Ziyad Abu Ein Foundation.
He previously held the following positions:
Founder and supervisor of Mawtani Radio – Palestine.
Supervisor of Odeh TV – Palestine.
Member of the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees of the Palestinian Radio and Television Corporation.
Spokesman for the Palestinian National Liberation Movement – Fatah.
Member of the Board of Directors and Trustees of a number of centers, organizations and NGOs.
He participated and represented Palestine in many delegations and official conferences at the highest levels.
He held many different leadership positions in the Fatah movement.
