Practical experiences:
He worked at Al-Raya newspaper in the Localities Department and the Sports Department from 1989 until 1995.
He started working for Al-Watan newspaper and wrote about political and sports affairs in 1995.
He held the position of Head of the Educational Media Department at the Ministry of Education in 1990.
He participated in many Gulf conferences as a representative of the country.
He assumed work in the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1994 and assumed the duties of Head of the Media Monitoring Section at the Information and Research Department until 2004.
He moved to the Embassy of Qatar in the Kingdom of Bahrain to occupy the position of second man in the embassy in 2008.
He held the position of Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He was the editor-in-chief of Al-Arab newspaper from 2009 until 2013.
He was appointed Director of the Media Office with the rank of Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2013 until 2021.
Until he was appointed Director General of the Qatar News Agency on 9/30/2021
