Beijing, September 08 (QNA) – HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed held separate meetings with senior Chinese officials and representatives of leading Chinese companies in technology, logistics, industry and trade during his visit to China.
His Excellency met with China International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce Li Chenggang, Vice Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Lin Honghong, Chairman of China International Capital Corporation (CICC) Chen Liang, and Chairman of Fung Investments Dr. Victor K. Fung.
The meetings reviewed opportunities to expand economic, trade and investment cooperation across a number of priority sectors, particularly advanced industries and supply chains. They also examined the advantages offered by Qatar’s business and investment environment and ways to strengthen engagement between the two countries’ business communities.
The meetings further discussed encouraging Qatari and Chinese companies to capitalize on available investment opportunities in ways that advance the shared interests of both countries. (QNA)
