Morocco vs. Liberia AFCON Qualifier Match Set for October 17th in Agadir

The postponement of the game was due to the earthquake that struck the Al Haouz region, necessitating a later date for the fixture.

Morocco’s national team had already secured their place in the AFCON finals last March after a draw (2-2) between South Africa and Liberia in Group K. In previous match days of this group, Morocco defeated South Africa (2-1) and Liberia (2-0).

This group only consists of three teams after Zimbabwe was suspended by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).

The Morocco-Liberia match, originally scheduled for September 9th in Agadir as part of the final day of AFCON qualifiers (Group K), has been rescheduled to take place on October 17th at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir, announced Monday the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) on its website.
