OIC condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi commercial ships in Red Sea

Amman, July 25 (Petra) — The General Secretariat of the Organisation
of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned Houthi attacks on
Saudi commercial vessels operating in the Red Sea, calling them a
blatant aggression and a grave violation of regional and
international maritime security.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the OIC said the attacks
jeopardize global food and energy supply chains and pose a direct
threat to international peace and security in clear violation of
international law.

The Jeddah-based organization called on the international community
to take firm action to halt these violations, while reaffirming its
full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and supporting all measures taken
by the kingdom to protect its security and interests.
