Muscat, August 10 (QNA) – The annual Summer Exhibition has kicked off in Muscat, Oman, in its new edition, bringing together Omani and international artists to share ideas and expertise and discuss new artistic concepts.
The event, running until Aug. 20, has been held annually since 2015, positioning itself as a platform that showcases Omani visual arts and brings them into dialogue with global artistic visions, with the objective of fostering a cross-border creative dialogue.
The exhibition explores aesthetic and social transformations in Omani art by showcasing contemporary artworks, featuring works by nine Omani artists and three international artists.
The artworks span realism, expressionism, impressionism and letterism, using a variety of materials, techniques and artistic approaches. (QNA)
