Islamabad, July 12 (QNA) – The Pakistani government has declared official mourning on Monday following the passing of HH the Father Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
In an official statement, the government said Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had declared a national day of mourning to express the fraternal solidarity of the government and people of Pakistan with the ruling family, the government, and the people of the State of Qatar following this loss.
The statement added that flags would be lowered to half-mast across the nation throughout the day of national mourning. (QNA)
