Gaza, July 08 (QNA) – A Palestinian child was martyred after succumbing to injuries sustained in an Israeli bombing of Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that a child who had sustained critical injuries was martyred after an Israeli strike yesterday targeted a civilian vehicle in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. The attack had initially killed three Palestinians, including the child’s brother and an employee of the Egyptian Committee for Gaza Relief.
As part of what has been described as ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli military carried out demolition operations southeast of Gaza City and north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, while artillery shelling targeted eastern Gaza City.
The Israeli military also shelled the eastern outskirts of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, while Israeli military helicopters opened fire east of the city.
The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,098 martyrs and 173,571 injures since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023. (QNA)
