Gaza Strip, Feb 11 (Petra) — A Palestinian was killed by Israeli army fire in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday despite a ceasefire, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
The ministry also said eleven bodies and 10 people wounded by Israeli forces arrived at hospitals across the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours.
These included 8 bodies recovered from the rubble of buildings targeted by Israeli bombing before the ceasefire took hold, and 3 newly killed people, it said, adding that many victims were still under the rubble or on the roads beyond reach of ambulance and civil defense crews.
The new victims took the death toll from the Israeli war to 48,219 and the number of injured to 111,665, it said in the latest update of casualties.
