Gaza, September 29 (QNA) – A Palestinian was martyred and others were injured Tuesday in Israeli occupation army shelling on Gaza City.
Medical sources reported the martyrdom of a Palestinian and the injury to multiple others resulting from an Israeli airstrike that targeted an apartment in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
Civil Defense teams reported recovering the martyr’s body after extinguishing a fire that had broken out inside the targeted apartment.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 74,022 martyred and 175,980 injured, according to Palestinian Ministry of Health.
A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel had come into effect last October; however, occupation forces continue to violate it by launching further airstrikes and artillery shelling, as well as engaging in heavy gunfire across various areas of the Strip. (QNA)
