Petra, Feb. 9 (Petra) – Chief Commissioner of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) Fares Breizat conducted an inspection tour of several archaeological sites in Petra on Sunday as part of efforts to ensure the site’s readiness to receive visitors.
Breizat assessed the preparedness of the archaeological site, the quality of services provided to visitors, and the safety of pathways within the site. He also reviewed the readiness of public facilities in anticipation of an expected rise in visitor numbers in the coming period.
The tour included visits to security points within the protected area to evaluate their preparedness and ability to respond to any emergencies.
During the visit, Breizat instructed authorities to provide the highest quality services to tourists and ensure their safety while preventing the recurrence of violations at the archaeological site.
