Petra, Feb. 16 (Petra) Chief Commissioner of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA), Faris Briezat, met on Sunday with a delegation from the Chinese investment firm Bartholet to discuss investment opportunities in Petra.
According to a PDTRA statement, the meeting focused on potential partnerships to enhance the tourism sector in Petra, support investment initiatives, and promote sustainable development in the region. The aim is to strengthen Petra’s position as a global tourist destination through cooperation and investment in tourism and sustainable development.
Bartholet is considered a leading company in its field, having completed 292 projects across 18 countries, including Switzerland, Türkiye, and China, reflecting its extensive expertise in tourism and development projects.
The PDTRA is committed to encouraging investments that enhance visitor experiences and create job opportunities for local communities. It is also working to strengthen collaboration with global leaders in tourism and development to implement strategic projects that improve services and develop tourism offerings in Petra.
