Amman, Feb. 3 (Petra) – The security forces have successfully apprehended a driver who was seen in a widely circulated video driving recklessly and performing dangerous stunts, putting road users at risk in the city of Zarqa.
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said that Zarqa Police and the Preventive Security team began an investigation following the video, which has gone viral online, showing the driver engaging in dangerous driving that posed a threat to other road users.
The spokesperson confirmed that authorities were able to identify the location where the video was filmed in Zarqa, as well as the identity of the driver. The driver was arrested, and the vehicle was seized and impounded in the designated holding yards. Legal and administrative action will be taken against the driver.
