Amman, February 8 (Petra) — A special investigation team has been looking into a video that circulated online, showing a procession of vehicles obstructing traffic and a person firing shots into the air during the march.
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said on Saturday that the investigation team pinpointed where the video was filmed in Madaba. They identified the vehicles seen in the footage, with five already seized.
Efforts are ongoing to locate and seize the remaining vehicles.
The suspect in the firing of the shots was arrested. The firearm used in the incident was also confiscated.
Legal and administrative actions will be taken against all violators, and the impounded vehicles will be held for the legally required duration in the designated impound yards, the PSD said.
