Amman, Feb. 3 (Petra) — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said Civil Defense teams in central Zarqa Governorate are currently responding to a report of a person falling into the Zarqa River path.
In a statement, the PSD said specialized diving teams have begun search operations inside the watercourse, in coordination with the Zarqa Police Directorate, adding that further details will be provided once the emergency is resolved.
The PSD also warned the public to stay away from valley edges and areas of flash floods and dodge attempts to cross flooded roads if water levels rise, whether by vehicle or on foot.
