Amman, Feb. 11 (Petra) – Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Siren Analytics, a digital solutions company, to strengthen collaboration in research, education, and digital transformation.
According to a PSUT statement on Tuesday, the MoU signed by PSUT President Wejdan Abu Elhaija and Siren Analytics CEO Kamil Najib Fakhoury aims to foster digital skills development, research and innovation, and solutions for societal challenges.
The agreement includes initiatives such as digital skills development programs, training workshops, certified courses, and joint research projects in fields like machine learning, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation solutions. Additionally, the partnership will facilitate knowledge exchange and hands-on training through practical programs.
Abu Elhaija emphasized that this collaboration represents a successful model of academia-industry partnership, fostering a modern educational environment aligned with global technological advancements.
She highlighted PSUT’s commitment to equipping students with advanced digital skills, enhancing their research and innovation capabilities through joint industry projects, and preparing them for the job market while enabling them to contribute to digital transformation locally and globally.
Fakhoury stated that Siren Analytics will leverage its expertise in data analytics and related technologies to support joint initiatives. The company will work closely with faculty and students on research and development projects, provide mentorship and hands-on experience, and contribute to educational initiatives to enhance digital skills.
