Doha, September 29 (QNA) – Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) participated in the 11th Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), held in Doha on Sep. 28 – 29 under the theme “Tomorrow’s Infrastructure: Impact and Innovation,” contributing to global discussions on sustainable infrastructure, innovative financing, and strengthening international partnerships for development.
QFFD showcased how it translates financing and partnerships into sustainable development impact, highlighting its financing instruments, sectoral priorities and strategic partnerships.
The engagement demonstrated QFFD’s approach to mobilizing resources and working with governments and multilateral institutions to address development priorities and support resilient and inclusive growth.
On the margins of the Annual Meeting, QFFD held a series of high-level bilateral meetings with senior government officials and development partners. Discussions explored opportunities to deepen cooperation, expand cross-regional partnerships and enhance the impact of development finance, with a focus on sustainable infrastructure, economic development and regional connectivity.
