Amman, July 22 (QNA) – The Jordanian Armed Forces announced that Royal Jordanian Air Force fighter jets intercepted and shot down four drones coming from Iran and targeting Jordanian territory.
A military source from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces confirmed that no casualties or material damage occurred as a result of the interception and downing operations, and that Royal Engineering Corps teams handled the sites where debris landed and secured them according to established procedures.
The source indicated that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to monitor the Kingdom’s airspace and maintain their readiness to address any threat to its security and sovereignty. (QNA)
