Moscow, June 08 (QNA) – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Monday that its forces had taken over the town of Khimik in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
In a statement, the ministry reported that its forces had targeted transportation and energy infrastructure facilities over the past 24 hours, along with ammunition and fuel depots of the Ukrainian armed forces.
Since the eruption of the war on Feb. 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have been publishing daily reports on the progress of combat operations and the affected regions.
However, due to the conditions surrounding the ongoing war and the nature of the fighting, the accuracy of these reports can’t be thoroughly verified. (QNA)
