Moscow, March 23 (Petra) – The Russian Foreign Ministry announced Monday that Moscow opposes any attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz, calling for maintaining the uninterrupted flow of oil and goods through the vital waterway to ensure stability in global energy markets.
In a press statement, the ministry said: Russia firmly rejects any closure of the Strait of Hormuz and calls on all parties to guarantee the safe passage of oil shipments.
Moscow underscores the urgent need to end the conflict in the Middle East and return to the negotiating table, as this is essential for preserving regional stability and preventing further escalation.
