Amman, Feb. 18 (Petra) – Ministry of Labor called on job seekers and employers to “quickly” register on the national employment platform (Sajil), or update data of previously registered people.
In a statement Tuesday, the ministry’s media spokesperson, Mohammad Zyoud, said the government launched the platform in 2019 to enhance recruitement opportunities for Jordanians in the private sector by increasing employer-job seeker networking and boosting women’s economic participation.
On its goals, Zyoud added that the call aims to expand the two parties’ database, with focus on job seekers, who hold technical and professional skills.
Zyoud stated this process would contribute to meeting needs of the Jordanian labor market with national competencies “effectively”.
