Riyadh, April 12 (QNA) – The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Iraqi Ambassador to the Kingdom Safia Taleb Al Suhail in response to continued blatant drone attacks and threats launched from Iraqi territory targeting Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states.
Emphasizing the Kingdom’s strong condemnation and denunciation of such attacks, Saudi Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Saud Al Sati delivered an official protest note.
Iraq must act responsibly to address these threats, stressed, Dr. Al Sati, reiterating his country’s categorical rejection of any violations of state sovereignty or attempts to destabilize the security of the region.
Moreover, the Deputy Minister affirmed that Saudi Arabia will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its territory. (QNA)
