Geneva, December 12 (QNA) – The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) announced the launch of the Sport Transparency Index, which is the first index of its kind in the world, in a joint project funded by the European Commission.
The Vice-Chairman of the SIGA Board of Directors Mohammed bin Hanzab revealed that the Sport Transparency Index is an innovative tool that classifies, compares and measures, with objective criteria, levels of transparency in sport at countries, federations, clubs and leagues with the aim of facilitating, measuring and improving standards of good governance and integrity in the sports sector.
Bin Hanzab welcomed this launch and said that it is a step that will inject added values into European and international sports.
