Spain, Portugal, and Morocco ‘United to Bridge between Civilizations’ – Spanish Official

Uribes highlighted the seamless coordination between the three countries and their respective football federations, expressing their commitment to realizing the “best project” for the prestigious tournament. The trilingual slogan Yalla Vamos symbolizes a proactive approach towards global football development, reflecting aspirations for inclusivity and growth.

Speaking on behalf of the bid, Uribes emphasized the broader significance of the event, advocating for a World Cup that transcends boundaries and leaves a lasting impact on sustainability, innovation, investment, and social cohesion.

The unveiling of the bid’s slogan and its visual identity took place in Lisbon, with key figures from Morocco, Portugal, and Spain in attendance. The event showcased the pillars and narrative of the joint bid, alongside the official website, promotional video, and social media platforms.

The journey towards this collaborative effort began with the signing of a letter of intent last October, solidifying the partnership between the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and its Portuguese and Spanish counterparts. Following unanimous approval by the FIFA Council on October 4th, the Morocco-Spain-Portugal consortium emerged as the sole candidate to host the 2030 World Cup.

In an ambitious move to foster unity and cooperation between nations, the president of the Spanish High Sports Council (CSD), José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, has emphasized the collective effort of Spain, Portugal, and Morocco in hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup. This collaboration, aimed at building "bridges between civilizations," underscores a shared vision for the future of football.
