Amman, Jan 3 (Petra) – The Public Security Directorate (PSD) Tuesday said the Desert Road was cut off in both directions at the Zumaila area, urging Jordanians to avoid travelling on the road during the extreme weather and to abide by safety instructions.
The PSD press department said its rescue squads rescued 22 passengers who had been trapped inside a bus that was swept away by the rain torrents on the Desert Road, adding that they are all in “good condition.”
