Khartoum, June 07 (QNA) – Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, met on Sunday with the United Nations Secretary-General’s Envoy for Sudan, Pekka Haavisto, who is visiting Khartoum, to discuss ongoing efforts to achieve peace in the country.
The meeting reviewed regional and international initiatives aimed at supporting a comprehensive political solution in Sudan, alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people, and advancing peace and stability. (QNA)
