Summer Weather to Remain Stable Across Kingdom, JMD Says

Amman, July 24 (Petra)– The Kingdom will experience typical summer
weather on Friday, with seasonally mild conditions across most
regions, relatively hot weather in the Badia, and hot conditions in
the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the Jordan
Meteorological Department (JMD).

Northwesterly moderate winds will prevail, becoming active at times.

The JMD forecast said similar weather conditions are expected on
Saturday and Sunday, with seasonal temperatures across most parts of
the Kingdom, relatively hot conditions in the Badia, and hot weather
in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly
winds will continue, occasionally becoming active.

On Monday, temperatures are forecast to rise slightly. Seasonal
summer weather will persist across most regions, while hot conditions
are expected in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and
Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds will remain active at times.

Forecast temperatures for Friday range between 33C and 20C in eastern
Amman and 31C and 18C in western Amman. Highs and lows are expected
to reach 29C/15C in the northern highlands, 30C/14C in the Sharah
Highlands, 37C/18C in the Badia, 33C/19C in the plains, 40C/23C in
the northern Jordan Valley, 43C/26C in the southern Jordan Valley,
and 42C/25C in both the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba.
