Ajloun, Aug. 13 (Petra) — The third edition of the “Summeric”
Festival opened Thursday at the Ajloun Cable Car, featuring a 10-day
program of artistic, cultural and entertainment activities for
visitors and families.
The festival is part of the tourism and entertainment activities
hosted by the Ajloun Cable Car, promoting the site as a tourist
destination, supporting tourism activity in the governorate, and
highlighting Ajloun’s natural and tourism attractions. It also
provides an opportunity to promote local products and handicrafts.
The festival’s 10-day program includes a variety of artistic,
cultural and entertainment activities, along with events for families
and visitors. As part of the program, singer Najm Al-Salman will
perform at the Castle Station next Saturday.
The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZ) said the festival
is part of its efforts to develop tourism events and establish the
Ajloun Cable Car as a regular venue for events and festivals. The
group said the activities are intended to support tourism and
economic activity in the governorate, as well as local community
members, producers and artisans.
The JFDZ invited visitors to the Ajloun Cable Car during the festival
to attend the various activities and family-oriented events.
The Ajloun Cable Car continues to attract visitors as a tourist
destination in the Kingdom, benefiting from its location among
Ajloun’s mountains and forests and from the range of activities held
there. The area also offers various facilities, services and tourism
experiences for visitors.
