Damascus, June 22 (QNA) – Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al Shaibani discussed with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam the latest regional developments, mainly the Israeli relentless assaults on Southern Lebanon and their consequences on security and stability in the region.
This came in a telephone conversation on Monday, during which the two sides also addressed avenues for strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation in a variety of fields.
Al Shaibani emphasized that Syria stands side by side with Lebanon and backs its sovereignty and stability, as well as the efforts aimed at reinforcing security and stability in the region. (QNA)
