New York, June 3 (Petra) — U.S. stock indexes fell on Wednesday,
while U.S. crude oil prices rose, with West Texas Intermediate crude
reaching $96.31 per barrel.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 620 points, or 1.21%, to
50,687.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq index fell 240 points to 26,854, while
the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index (S&P 500) declined by about 56 points
to 7,553.
